The Invicta Subaqua Noma: A Diver's Delight
The Invicta Subaqua Noma, from the Invicta Diver line, is as sturdy as it needs to be for its features. With water resistance rated at 50 ATM it is a strong watch model for under pressure as well as seaborne necessities.
The Invicta Subaqua Noma has a brushed unidirectional ratcheting bezel with raised and polished numerals at five-second intervals, giving this Invicta Diver a modest appearance. History has shown that it can be used for all occasions and is never awkward. The Noma's round, sun-ray dial can be made to match wrist straps that are of the color field brown or night black. The luminous index markers trimmed in silver tones are set at several hour positions, with sub-dials at two, six, and ten o'clock, and a date window at four. A very practical tachymeter for calculating speed over distance rounds out the whole dial.
The Noma is also available with different sub-dial designs. One version has two sub-dials placed next to each other to form a figure-eight. Another has three sub-dials positioned to form a triangle, each variously displaying the day, month, and moon phase. An interesting cosmetic feature common to all models of the Invicta Diver is the arched gateway that encompasses the crown. Some of the models have two knobs or pushers next to it.
Bracelets are shown in two-toned color schemes of gold and black, gold and silver, and black and blue. The Reserve Subaqua features a three-link bracelet with crescent shapes on the central link making a secure fit. Reserve Subaquas are also available with a skeleton dial and diamond highlights. But whether a Noma or another Invicta Diver, the diver's buckle is simple but sturdy, and all of these contain a mineral crystal that has been popular through out its history. The company's own Trinite brand of luminous paint adorns the hour and minute hands for great visibility in conditions of low light.
This watchn is heir to a legacy of excellence epitomizing the vision of founder Raphael Picard, who established the brand in La Chaux-de-fonds, Switzerland, in 1837 to offer precision timekeeping for the common man. Their history starts with the name which is Latin for "invincible," and this modern and trendy line of automatic timepieces are built to last while maintaining a strong mdoesty.
